ABOUT THE STRAIN:
Bubba Kush CBD is a popular strain well-known in the industry. Cultivated in America since the 1990s, the Kush strain originally hails from Afghanistan in the Hindu Kush mountains. Like its genetic forefather OG Kush, Bubba Kush CBD creates a deeply relaxed state.
The pungent smell of this strain is classic for a Kush. The scent of this Delta 8 THC flower is piney, resinous, and potent. When smoked, the taste is hashy and spicey, with chocolate and coffee notes upon the exhale.
Bubba Kush has a unique, bulky bud structure with deep green and purple colors. Orange hairs are peppered throughout with an ample presence of trichomes. The multitude of trichomes produces sticky, potent CBD buds.
Delta 8 THC Also known as delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol, is one of over 100 cannabinoids found in hemp or cannabis plants. Cannabinoids are molecular compounds that interact with the human endocannabinoid system.
Cannabis and hemp plants are quite closely related, and by legal definition, a cannabis plant produces flowers that are over 0.3% THC. Hemp plants, conversely, have less than 0.3% THC. The THC that the federal government is most concerned with is known as Delta 9 THC. It is important to distinguish between Delta 8 and Delta 9 because they are not regulated at the same federal level.
Delta 8 naturally occurs in minimal quantities in both cannabis and hemp plants. Because of this negligible level, Delta 8 has only recently become popularized. Developments in cannabinoid isolation have created opportunities to bring new products to market that have concentrated levels of Delta 8 THC. While this cannabinoid is technically legal under the 2018 Farm Bill regarding hemp, in some states it is not legal to purchase Delta 8. However, 38 states do not have any laws prohibiting the use or purchase of Delta 8 products. The main difference between Delta 8 and Delta 9 is in their molecular structure. Each cannabinoid contains a double bond on its carbon chain. For Delta 8, the double bond is located on the 8th carbon chain, and for Delta 9, the double bond is on the 9th. The double bond is thought to be what creates the sensation of feeling high. While both of these cannabinoids can create a sense of intoxication, Delta 9 THC is much stronger. Users report that Delta 8 THC produces a less potent psychotropic effect when compared with cannabis.
